If you want to pee like the King of England, you need to pee with a bathroom door. Visiting London should be on everyone’s bucket list, but in a city where space is a commodity, some hotels choose to drop the bathroom doors, prioritizing the concept of a larger room over your privacy. Luckily I’ve managed to find a few great hotels that understand a bathroom door needs to fully close and not be see through.
I’ve carefully selected each of the hotels on this list to not only have doors, but to meet my own high standards for hotels. If you click any of the links in the article I may receive a small commission from Hotels.com.

Apex Temple Court Hotel

Located on a quiet road next to the busy Fleet Street, this hotel is the perfect choice for people who want to be centrally located, but also want to sleep peacefully at night. It’s also the perfect choice for people who want to pee in private. And before you ask, the inside of the door does have a glass feature, but no shadows get through and it’s fully opaque.

The Page8, Page Hotels
If you’re looking for a simple yet sleek hotel that has easy access to the Westminster area, this could be your hotel. And the best part? Despite their minimalist design choices, this hotel still offers bathroom doors. It’s almost like bathroom doors aren’t something that designers should be allowed to change….

Luxury Hotels in London
L’oscar London

In the heart of London, this opulent five star hotel has gone for a maximalist approach to color, with rich reds and golds decorated the entire place. Luckily, despite being within walking distance of the British Museum, they’ve managed to fend of the teams of curators and keep their bathroom doors where they belong, and not in a museum exhibit.
Rooms from $430.
The Guardsman

Right next door to Buckingham Palace, this five star hotel does have bathroom doors. It also has an excellent breakfast, great staff, and in some suites, the ability to push the wall away and bring the tub into the bedroom. Fortunately, this wall does reach all the way from floor to ceiling, and doesn’t have any cracks when closed, so the hotel will stay on this list.
Rooms from $276.
Rubens at the Palace

Every room in this hotel has been designed with its own unique twist, providing something perfect for every single guest. But more importantly, every room in this hotel has been designed with a bathroom door. The hotels location also provides a direct view to the Royal Mew’s, where you can see the royal carriages entering and exiting while you enjoy tea.
