I was truly shocked to discover the amount of hotels unable to confirm that they have bathroom doors in Amsterdam. Then I started talking to people and heard of multiple DIFFERENT hotels in Amsterdam that have the showers in glass columns in the middle of the room and realized that maybe this list of hotels may be the most needed of anyone I have created so far. So without further ado, the only hotels I’ve found in Amsterdam that can confirm that they have real bathroom doors.
I’ve carefully selected each of the hotels on this list to not only have doors, but to meet my own high standards for hotels. If you click any of the links in the article I may receive a small commission from Booking.com.
Boutique Hotels in Amsterdam
Dikker & Thijs Hotel

Founded over 100 years ago, in a time when hotels still believed in doors, this hotel has not sacrificed that founding principle no matter what else is happening around them in their central Amsterdam location. Plus, the beds are comfy.
Rooms from $107.
Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel

A nice location, pet-friendly, one of the prettiest hotel gym views I’ve ever seen, and bathroom doors in every single room? Say less.
Rooms from $115.
Tribe Amsterdam City

A bit further from the city center, allowing this hotel to offer excellent amenities for less than the more central options. Luckily, the hotel is only two stops by train from the main center of Amsterdam. And luckily-er, every room in the hotel has bathroom doors.
Rooms from $72.
Luxury Hotels in Amsterdam
Conservatorium Hotel – Operated by Mandarin Oriental

If you want luxury, relaxation, and calm in the center of Amsterdam’s Museum District, this is your hotel. Every room in this hotel has a bathroom door, however, I do have to call out that the penthouse suite does not have a proper bathroom door.
Rooms from $635.
Hotel Twentyseven

If you like Dark Academia style, this is your hotel. The hotel calls back to Amsterdam’s past without overwhelming guests. I mean the showers have stained glass! And they do so in a way that doesn’t sacrifice the bathroom door in any of the rooms.
Rooms from $435.
Mid-Range Hotels in Amsterdam

Over on the east side of the city, only a few feet from the metro, lies this simple but comfortable hotel. Every room provides exactly what guests need; beds, space for luggage, showers, and, the most important, bathroom doors.
