Surprisingly, in my quest to find hotels with guaranteed bathroom doors Lisbon has been one of the hardest cities to pin down hotels with bathroom doors. I’ve emailed twice as many hotels as every other city I’ve done so far and have found these eight options for people looking for bathroom doors.

Boutique Hotels in Lisbon

Browns Avenue Hotel

Let’s clear the air, yes this hotel has bathroom doors. But why else should you stay here? I can personally vouch for the location being amazing (I spent my first year in Lisbon living right next door), and the hotel has a relaxing but elegant design that will be the perfect compliment to busy days exploring the city.

Rooms from $143.

Casa Teva Lisbon Boutique Hotel by chic and basic

chic and basic is one of my favorite hotel brands in Portugal. The staff is excellent, the rooms comfortable, and everyone I’ve ever sent to stay here has had nothing but positive reviews. And the best part? Every room has a bathroom door.

Rooms from $119.

Another hotel in my old neighborhood, this one offers guests a beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views of the city. The interior of the hotel has a slightly retro aesthetic, but every room has a bathroom door, and that’s the only thing we care about here.

Rooms from $108.

Luxury Hotels in Lisbon

Located on a quiet street in one of my favorite areas of Lisbon, this luxury hotel offers a pool, sauna, and pillow menu so you can get the best possible sleep. It also has a bathroom door in every single room (which IS more important than any of the other things I said).

Rooms from $136.

Áurea Museum by Eurostars Hotel

This is one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever found. It has Turkish baths, a relaxing atmosphere, and bathroom doors in every room. But that, for a change, is not what has me so excited. This hotel also has a permanent archaeological exhibit featuring Roman Ruins located inside the hotel.

Rooms from $146.

Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel

What’s really nice about the location of this luxury hotel is that you don’t have to climb a hill to get home every night. Near the water for perfect sunset views, this hotel offers everything you want, plus what you need (bathroom doors in ever room).

Rooms from $273.

Budget Hotels in Lisbon

VIP Executive Arts Hotel

If you want to save money, and don’t mind taking the metro into the city, this is your perfect hotel. Located along the water in Parque das Nações, this hotel is able to offer lower prices without compromising on quality (just location). And the best part? Every room has a bathroom door.

Rooms from $90.

This three star hotel isn’t in the best location, but it does offer great savings if all you need is a place to lay your head at night. And an added perk? Every room has a bathroom door.

Rooms from $75

You deserve privacy when you travel. Before you book your next hotel, make sure no one has reported it for not having a door.
