So you want to visit the City of Love, but you think that couples should still have some mystery in their life? I agree. That’s why all of hotels recommended here have bathroom doors. Not sliding doors, not glass doors, not a mysterious mix of doors that you hope offers you a bathroom door, but might leave you with an open concept toilet. They all have solid, wooden, bathroom doors in every room.
I’ve carefully selected each of the hotels on this list to not only have doors, but to meet my own high standards for hotels. If you click any of the links in the article I may receive a small commission from Booking.com.
Boutique Hotels in Paris
Hôtel Moderniste

Located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, this trendy hotel is perfect for people who like bathroom doors. Every single room has one. It’s also a great option for people who want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas of Paris, but still want easy metro access.
Rooms from $130.
Hotel Astra Opera

An easy walk to the main sights in Paris, a pool for guests to relax in, quiet rooms, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, bathroom doors in every single room. That’s right, every single one. The way life should be.
Rooms from $209.
Luxury Hotels in Paris
Hôtel Alfred Sommier
If you want to feel like you’re staying in a true palace, this is your hotel. Built in 1860 it still holds many of the original features while being in the heart of the 8th. And the best part? In the 1860’s they had bathroom doors (at least I assume they did, because this hotel certainly does).
Rooms from $304.
Hôtel Bowmann

As Shannon from the UK says in her review, “rooms great, especially bathrooms. Fantastic shower and toilets.” Now she doesn’t mention the door, but that’s okay, because I will. It exists, and makes that great bathroom even better for those of us who enjoy privacy. Unless you’re staying in the penthouse suite, then there is a bathroom with glass doors.
Rooms from $231.
Hotel Pont Royal

The five star hotel has a walkable location, amazing views, bathroom doors, tremendous service, comfortable beds, oh and did I mention the bathroom doors? Because let’s be honest that is the only thing that matters.
Rooms from $295.
Mid-Range Hotels in Paris
L’Horset Opéra
Yes, this hotel is in a great location. Yes, this hotel is near a metro line that can quickly take you to Disneyland Paris. Yes, this hotel has great staff. But does any of that matter as much as the question of bathroom doors? No. Luckily, this hotel has bathroom doors in every single room.
Rooms from $171.
Hotel Orphée

Near the Jardin des Plantes, this hotel is a bit further from the popular sights, but still very accessible with the metro to anything you may want to see or do. It also has bathroom doors in every room, which is much more important than the location.
Rooms from $120.
Hôtel La Canopée

If you want to unwind in a lovely garden terrace after your busy day of sight seeing in Paris, this is the perfect hotel for you. And if you also want to have a bathroom door between you and your friends, then this hotel could not be a better fit for your needs.
Rooms from $156.
Hôtel Augustin

A simple hotel with everything you need between Palais Garnier and the Arc de Triomphe. And by everything you need, I very much do include bathroom doors in that statement.
Rooms from $110.
Budget Hotels in Paris
Le Mireille
Is this hotel in easy walking distance to any of the main sights? No. But that’s okay because Paris has an excellent metro system. What this hotel does provide is a clean and comfortable stay (with bathroom doors) for a decent price.
Rooms from $67.
