What I love about Barcelona is the architecture, Gaudi and Montaner are some of my favorite architects to ever live. But, what I don’t love about Barcelona is also the architecture. Specifically the modern architects who keep designing rooms that don’t have bathroom doors. That’s why I’ve gone out of my way to email dozens of hotels in Barcelona to find ones that actually have bathroom doors. Not sliding doors, not glass doors, and certainly not empty doors. But real, proper, doors.
